| | | Arthur Harrison Newman was articled to his father, Arthur Sean Newman in 1871 and then to his partner Arthur Billing. Newman commenced independent practice in 1877 and succeeded to his fathers practice in the following year, gaining RIBA in December 1879. In 1883 he was joined by his cousin, Dudley Newman, as junior partner. | | Dudley Newman was educated at Charterhouse nd Trinity hall, Cambridge before being articled to Carpenter & GIngelow from 1879- 1882. He was then attached to the office of I'Anson & Son until 1883 when he commenced practice in partnership with his cousin.
