| The six and a half acre former Hospital
site is being redeveloped as part of the Camborne Pool Redruth
Regeneration scheme (CPR). The two remaining Hospital buildings,
which includes the Passmore Edwards' Children's Wing, are to
be refurbished by the South West RDA to provide office space
around which about 100 dwellings, half of which will be social/affordable
housing are to be constructed under a scheme led by Devon and
Cornwall Housing Association . The first of these homes are
now complete and in use. Kerrier District Council has contributed
in excess of £600,000 towards this key scheme and DCHA
have worked closely with the RDA and The Princes Foundation
to apply the highest standards of design and layout to the scheme. |
