| This
building, which is situated on one of the highest points in
Falmouth embracing a view of the sea, is the gift of Mr. J.
Passmore Edwards, who has also furnished it, and has spared
no expense that would promote efficiency and economy in its
future maintenance. The panels over the bay windows are modelled
by Mr. C. Frampton, A.R.A. Mr. Trehane (builder), of Liskeard,
completed the work from plans by Mr. H. C. Rogers, 7, Carteret-street,
Westminster. Extract
from Building News, 13 April 1894.
